Just a tentitive date at the moment looking at Saturday the 24th of April, if that does'nt suit or the weather is no good we can visit other dates after this date. Probably an over nighter in Hick Bay(?) again, thoughts please...
Put this down as Al's weekend ride as it was his idea

2 days 555km and 661 km

the map not real good at showing when overlaying 2 days on top of each other but it basically ashhurst to hicks bay then round anti clockwise to opotiki and through to gissy and then back sh2 home

Well Cowboyz has lost quite a bit of weight so i'm picking it's him...

25th is Anzac day-I have the kids that weekend but may be able to bribe the big'uns to look after the little'un
It's a great ride-we did it not long ago and stayed at a camp ground on the beach just out of Hicks bay-they had a `hot chip` van there and the shop had `Hot chooks`(not chicks), so just lovely after a long ride...no cooking....no dishes!!!

last time we were up there we hired a house for the night.. Sleeps 8.. $160 for the night which made it $20 each. worked real well.. If we can get organised we should still have his number round here somewhere.
