    TT500 seals & bearings

Short term problem is I need the numbers off the kickstart oil seal on a TT500 G, I can't read the original seal and my measurements without taking it out make it look like 12-24-7 but I'd rather be sure than guess. I don't want to take it out until I have the new one as I think I can do it without draining the oil etc (lazy bastard).

Also, does anyone have a list of bearings and seals required for a TT500 overhaul? I'd rather have them all here before I start. I just did an XT550 motor up and had to rip it apart, remove all the bearings and seals, make a list, go to the bearing shop, wait for them to arrive, pick them up, take them home and then consult my list again for where they went. It would be a lot quicker and easier if I could get a list and then do the whole job in one weekend.

The oil seal that you need for the kick start should be part number
    93102-25064-00 OIL SEAL (SD-25-35-7)

What you need is a TT500F parts list manual it has all the oil seal, o-ring and bearing sizes in it where as the TT500G parts list manual doesn't.

    Good luck

Awesome thanks. I ended up measuring it and making a guess which was right fortunately. I'll have a hunt for that parts list, that would be just what I'm looking for.
I've just had a look at the on-line parts lists and you're right, the TT500F has all the bearings and seals listed but the year later only has the part numbers - what a score (how did you discover this?)
