Foos' Concert

Went to the show last night. What a fricken amazing performance. And LOUD. Bloody LOUUUUUUUD

Halfway through they broke it down to an acoustic set for 5 mins, and Taylor Hawkins chucked out his drum sticks...I caught one which is now on my book shelf in the lounge.
Standing watching and listening Dave Grohl, you feel as though he is one of the boys and not just a rock star god. He was pretty cool.
By the end of the 2 hour show I was knackered.

Anyone else go?

I went to Monday nights concert.

The start and end was good - the 30 minute monologue in the middle killed the buzz

I did end up with a guitar pick though

I went to Monday nights show. Absolutely epic concert. In terms of the performance they put on and the buzz I got out of it, this was miles and miles ahead of anything I've been to. If you're a Foo's fan and you didn't go.... sorry but you should be kicking yourself.

The sound where I was sitting was a bit naff at times, but most people seem to rate it as good so I guess it was just the position I was in. My left ear is still ringing hard... mind you, the fencing contractor from the Waikato who was sitting on my left is now probably deaf in his right ear from me screaming myself hoarse...sorry dude!

So yeah, epic epic concert. I'll never forget it.
