You need a sedative. Besides, capitalism is the opposite of hippyism Mr Basher.
You need to define your stance.

Motorcycles and guitars go together naturally.
I'm glad I heard about it.

A warm cup of "chill the fark out" would be in order mate.

In NO way bike related? Interesting. No one has EVER put motorcycling & hard rock together before???

    Pull ya head in
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Cheers for the support guys, I am regular reader of these forums, especially after the Motorhead gig. It's not like I am posting in the forums to do with biking, I have posted in the forum for all things non-biking related, so I don't see the problem

So for those of you who do care here is the latest news...

The G-TARanaki Midnight Sessions are the most exclusive guitar shows you'll be invited to this year.

GILBY CLARKE of Guns n' Roses and Rockstar, 11.59pm Thursday 17 July.

    Just a polite note..

Under the new spam laws you cannot email people unless they have actively submitted their own details. Emailing Adding them to a mailing list having gleaned their details from a mate who entered them is not allowed - regardless of having the unsubscribe feature.

I'm not trying to cause problems or be a smart ass - but being a NZ based event; emailing NZ based people you really run the risk of someone complaining - and it would be terrible to see a new (and exciting) event like this fall foul of legislation and you guys coping a fine.

I wish you all the best for your event - I'm sure it will be a great one.

The G-TARanaki international guitar festival is hitting New Plymouth in July 2008, culminating in two major concerts at the TSB Stadium. We've added new ticket options to these events, and the chance to win guitars!

    NEW! Student Prices
We get the message! After a barrage of requests we are now selling student ID priced single day tickets at $45 each.

    NEW! A Reserve Seats
Due to Premium seats for both G-Taranaki TSB Stadium shows selling out on the first day we are adding more seating. Limited A reserve seats are now available for both performances. These seats are just $120 each per event. They will go VERY QUICKLY so get in now!

    WIN A GUITAR
ALL A Reserve ticket holders go in the draw to win a guitar. We have two amazing guitars to give away: one Friday night ticket holder will win a $700 Schecter, and one Saturday night ticket holders will win a $600 Ibanez. You have a 1 in 324 chance of scoring a guitar when you buy an A Reserve seat!

Stadium Concert 1: Friday 18 July
Alex Skolnick Trio (Jazz lounge, USA)
Gilby Clarke and band (Classic rock, USA)
Gray Bartlett and band (Rock and roll, New Zealand)
Uli Jon Roth and band (Classical baroque, symphonic rock, Germany)

Stadium Concert 2: Saturday 19 July
Tim Donahue (Fretless harp guitar, USA)
Vernon Reid and band (Rock, fusion, world, USA)
Glenn Hughes and band (Soul, funk, rock, UK)
Joe Satriani and band (Fusion rock, USA)

Just realised that the date for this event is the 15-19th of July - not the 25-26th of May as I somehow had gotten into my head...

    Anyone contemplating going there?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
