Safe ride tomorrow you lot! Dont forget your sunblock and caps, I reckon the UV index will be sitting about minus 2!

I've about done my dash for tonight, with getting everything ready for tomorrow... that I've actually started to answer myself back... to the questions.. I'm asking myself out loud..

2nd that, good turn out, not too many hold ups on the cruise to the airport, good weather and the missus enjoyed it too

WOOHOO!!!!!! what a WICKED day out!!!!!

We were absolutely blessed to see the sun shining this morning & a lovely day was bestowed upon us!!

so out of the woodwork they came... & we had approx 180 bikes join us for the ride into town

The Police lead vehicle & supporting officers did a superb job of manning all the traffic lights for us!!!

Stopping traffic & riding through red lights is sooo much fun!!!

Along with an awesome team of helpers who controlled the rest of the intersections for us.. resplendent in their sexy fluro ensemble!!! TOP effort guys!!!!

Had a slight miscalculation with the timing aspect.. which meant we arrived about an hour early at our destination...

but the crowd were happy to mingle & natter amongst themselves while my folks & the Richmond Lions & Lionesses got the bbq's cranking!!

A weeee while later, we were into it, with yours truly taking charge of the mike with the welcoming speech, thanking the amazing sponsors for their incredible generosity, the cheesecutter campaign information.. then we were into the auction!!

At the end of the day.. we have thusfar raised $4700.00

3 auction items however did not reach reserve.. so they are being listed on Trademe! (will add the link on here tomorrow.. so stay tuned!!)

The items are:

Tandem Skydive
Serengetti sunglasses & eye exam
Maui Jim sunglasses & eye exam

Ummmm.. I was sooo busy running round like a headless chook.. that I didn't actually take any photos of the bikes... I am hoping those who have taken some.. will put some up on here.. pleeeeeease!!! ta muchly!!

Anyhoooo.. I am being taken out for tea.. so I better get off my butt & get outta these leathers that I'm still wearing.. & get into some girly getup...
