Erm, why did I get you thinking about that? Or was it just all the talk about trying to find some hot chick to set you up with??? I'm thinking of starting up a KB dating service: So for all your girls out there I'd like to introduce Andy from Tauranga:
He is of medium height, blondish hair, no idea of his eye colour.
He enjoys jogging, motorbikes, dog sled racing, scuba diving, socialising.
Solo dad to Luke - a well behaved 12 year old.
Good sense of humour, cooks a pretty good steak, will drop everything to help a friend in need, and genuine all round nice guy.

If he sounds like your cup of tea, PM him and start up a conversation. You never know, he might just be the one you've been waiting for.

If man was intended to run, he wouldn't have invented the wheel.
Look at Arthur Lydiard, ran all his life and still died.

Thats true, however, I'd rather be a slim fit carcass than a tub'o'lard that needs a forklift to carry me out. Besides, back in the day, if man hadnt learnt to run faster than the critters, he'd be dead

    Mamma always said...

Forrest Gump said it best: "I don't believe in running, unless you're being chased"

Actually, I love running, it's my main activity at gym. I was doing great, but when things get stressful, I seem to stop gym, and start eating shit. Hopefully I'll get back into it soon. This could be another huge topic, motivation - How to get it, and how to keep it. I had it once for 3 or 4 months before I came to NZ and it did WONDERS. I just need to find the same period of motivation and I'm set.

Oh, Riff, can I sign up?

Funnily enough I went for an early morning walk Monday and this morning. I used to run but the fat won. No doubt I'll overdo it and my knees will crap out and it will be back to siting in an armchair for exercise.

Running is great and so is riding a push bike and swimming.

Good luck with getting rid of the gutt and firming and toning your body. No matter how fit I have been, I haven't unlocked the secret to getting a 6 pack yet... other than the once you get from the liquor store.

Well you could be OK as long as you don't say anything..... I'd definately go for the silent mysterious look if I was you...

However... On this I agree... Running sucks.. Despite being quite fit once I always hated running as it is just so boring... Walkmans are a pain in the arse etc etc. That and my knees are rooted from 15 years of basketball and my back is stuffed and I'm too damn fat for words... Christ, I have developed my own gravity well this year......

I suppose I could stop drinking and .... Hang on......

    Oh well...

If you define 'fantastic physical condition' as 'not fat', sure... you ain't fat dude, not by any stretch of the imagination

Now, me, I'm all 'New Year's Resolution' on my sorry arse for '05 to get back into the kind of shape that was responsible for the surprising fact of my being able to actually find a partner and breed.
