    Charity Ride

    Heartfelt Thanks and Appreciation
To all those folk that helped make this most deserving fund raising event such a success..... please except our most heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
*To all the riders and pillions that paid for the privilege to participate.....
*To the 'Bucket Shakers' that trawled the streets.....
*To those that worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize this event.....
*To the sponsors and business's that gave and continue to give.....
*To the families and friends that gave their support.....
*To the public that gave not only their money but also their encouragement.....
You can all feel extremely proud of your efforts

It was indeed a privilege to lead such a ride. Any anxious thoughts I initially had with such a diverse group coming together for the first time (many having never ridden on Group Rides before) were quickly dispelled. I feel extremely proud to be called a biker....and to my lovely wife and family...thanks for your support and encouragement, I love you all very much..... cheers W
P.S...Lets build on what we have....see ya all next year.

I've learned... that to ignore the facts does not change the facts

Do you seriously expect me to believe that these politicians would implement policy based on nothing more than bullshit......

It was indeed an honour, and we were proud to have you at the lead, W.
Even though I was caged for the entire thing (like some restless tiger!) it was fantastic to be a part of it, made all the more poignant by the news of Scott's untimely death.

We have thoughts about next years but will leave that for a debrief after we have farewelled Scott.....

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

My first ride with you lot and very enjoyable. The fact that a load of money was raised is even better. I did not know the guy who died, but I am sure he would have liked seeing all of us riding down his road.

Also thanks for the photo of myself and wife on the GSXR, nice one.

To cap it all off we won a ruck-sack hamper, bonus!!

Will keep logging into the site now. Would be happy to be part of any other fundraiser, ride-out in the future.

In the UK we used to do easter egg runs to the Hospitals, is that done here?

I took some quick pictures as well not brilliant but you may see yourself or bike. cheers.

Good for you. That was me what handed it to you.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Janet and our daughter Emma are taking a flight on the chopper right now. Emma has a brain bleed and has to go to Welly Hosp. Wish them luck.

Thank God for the helicopters! Amazing to think we were out raising money for them on Saturday, and now two of the beneficiary choppers have been used for our own in the last 6 days.

Thoughts and love to you all at this time John.
