Thanks for talkin me into this event Taffy. What a great day and no dick-heads doin silly stuff to ruin everyone elses day. This was a credit to the organizers for sure. The start was pretty sad seeing those wee kids out at the mailbox waiving to us all and not really appreciating what it was all about. I would be very happy to join into any future local events, especially when it is for such a worthy cause. Thankyou very much, ride safely guys n gals.

On a brighter note, Emma has come through the op well and things are improving for her by the hour.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I came home last night, leaving my girl in Welly hospital.
We have been absolutely overwhelmed by your support and I feel very humble.
She is improving each day and should be back in the Bay Wed or Thurs next week. In the meantime some Welly Kbers are visiting her so she is not alone.
    Thank you all for everything

We just had a visit from the Helicopter lady who John dealt with.
They have presented a fantastic photo of the helicopter performing a sea rescue with Cape Kidnappers in the background, and a letter of thanks and a receipt.

Only problem is it is presented to "John Baine" rather than Kiwibiker HB...but is here for all who want to see it. It will have pride of place on the gargre wall.

No problem with the name on it Tart. Was a great day and I recon you and John need some recognition for all the work you put in to get that ride under way. Well done.

I know a few that have had the wallnut job George. They are fine and have been for many years mate. A bit scarry to be the one in line for the OP but from what I have seen it works well and life is good after the OP. Thinking of you mate.

And Dooly mate. You are tuff. You have been there before. This one will be a piece of cake compared to the others. You will be fine and we might even visit from time to time to make sure you are not harassing the nurses. I am sure we can help in the recovery.

What a nice day. Back to work for me. Think I will put some sun screen on

It was a team effort, Steve.
The whole thing would never have happened if the team hadn't stepped up to the mark.
    The team deserves the recognition
