Quasi's sliderz kevlar jeans, anyone got 'em?

Hey guys, I'm in the market for some Kevlar jeans, nailed it down to Teknic or Quasi, of course I'm learning towards Quasi just for the 'help out the locals' factor.

I was just wondering if anyone has any and what their thoughts are on them, are they baggy enough? I'm not a fan of tight jeans, especially on a bike. I'd also like them to be quite baggy because I'd probably just buy some MX padding and slip them inside the jeans. The Teknic's look great and are quite baggy, though they only have kevlar in the needed places and I'm not sure of the kevlar's quality. It seems Quasi also has a March deal on with $20 off the Sliderz which knocks them to about $20 below Teknics.

Any comments welcomed! I have emailed Quasi and got a great reply, just thought I would see if anyone has had some good use in them and can report back on how they feel.

    Cheers!

Go for the shift jeans I reckon. They are difficult to find, but give it a go.

I got first pair for $160, then scored another pair for $140.

Tested the second pair whilst stunting the day i bought them. They work

    Cheers tri boy!
Morcs: I had Shift in mind but then I heard from a KB'er on here in a previous thread, that he found out that the kevlar was only 5% woven kevlar or something. They aren't the safest pants around to begin with so I'd rather have full kevlar in the places needed!

Thanks for the input so far guys

Yup got a pair of Quasi Sliderz, really impressed with them. Not too tight, just the right fit for riding on a bike. And have to say has a better quality to the amount of kevlar and stitching than other brands that I have tried.

Big ups to Quasi for the quality of his products....

I really like my Quasi jeans. Not sure that I'd call them baggy, but they're certainly all day comfortable, and look good enough to get away with in the office (if you're not required to wear a suit of course!).

Fantastic for a day like today.

Well, with such 'persuasion' as that, how could I possibly resist?

Ordered myself some, hopefully they get here soon! *cough*iknowyouarereading*cough*

Wearing a pair at the moment. Yes baggy. Yes would appear to have enough Kevlar. Some of the inner stitching in mine I'm not 100% sure about, but there appears to be enough of it that a few minor errors don't look like a problem. I'm happy with them.

I disagree. The Kevlar is thick. I have a pair where I slid up hill on my arse that I could show you...

No worries, Its just they are a really good product, and when I find a good product, I like to preach

My jeans have made my cordura and leathers redundant. (except in rain or riding hard twisties)
