    For Sale--Mella Yella --ZXR400

Its with a sad heart Im selling Mella Yella My ZXR400 Race bike.
Some up and coming racer is going to get a ready to ride/race bike.
I've poured a truckload of money and time into this bike.
Just to recap the past few months.
    1) purchaced from motoracer for $2000 as a bike used for the odd track day.
It came with glass fairings already but was a bit of a mess.
    2) cosmetics stripped off and repainted
    3) several broken brackets replaced or rewelded. a multitude of new brackets manufactured.
4)Front suspension stripped out and rebuilt, steering head bearings replaced.
swingarm and rear suspension removed and all pivots cleaned and relubricated.
5)engine removed and stripped down, Clutch rebuilt.
Bore honed, crank and little end bearings checked. piston crowns polished.New rings fitted, Head stripped out and totally decarboned,3 face cut on all valves.some valves replaced. All valve guide seals replaced
    6) carbs stripped out and rebuilt. rejetted -x about 10
    7) total loss ignition fitted. standard charging system still available
    8) GPR70 tyres used front and rear.
    9) Front brakes stripped and rebuilt New brake pads fitted.
    10) new sprockets/chain fitted. different gearing aranged to suit different tracks.
    11) cooling system opened up for better cooling.
12.instrument cluster rebuilt for better instrument visibility.
    13) It came with a free flow exhaust system and muffler but its since been tuned for better flow.
14 as at today it has a brand new set of GPR70's on it .
Thats the stuff I can remember but theres heaps more.
Theres a few guys that can testify to how strong and reliable the bike has become.other than a bit of teething trouble with the total loss and swapping batteries.
The handling seems to be spot on for a learner racer. Very forgiving.
Oh and I haven't disturbed the subframe or wiring loom so It could arguably be turned back into a kickass road bike. -probably the fastest zxr400 on the road.
Shit I cant go On .
If anybodys interested Give me a call.

Ummm, for those who havent followed this saga from day one, howabout some info as to what model you have and how much you think you want for it. Fastest ZXR ehh, you are sadly mistaken there, boyo, the fastest ZXR lives in the South Island AKA ex Andy Bolwell, now owned by some young lad in Greymouth ! Anyway got any decent pictures of it? Is it an H model?

Without givin a lot away I bought mella Yella not sure If I even could race.

Anyone interested in getting Frosty's race bike, here is a complete extra frame/subframe/swingarm assembly for it with $60 reserve:

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...n-20214747.htm

A little bit of a dent in the frame from a tank slappper but doesn't look too bad.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I guess it goes without saying that if a KB member buys the bike my gargre would be available for assistance for normal pre raceday servicing and so forth
