Is it 15L to reserve on the new bikes ? . It is on the old gpx. I normally get 300-310km from the 15L with 3L to spare and that's not being economical. 360-370km from full to dry based on that.

I've been riding 2007 gpx 250 a bit recently, and it averaged 4.5 L/100k's. That was very mixed, including some 2up riding. I suppose if ridden gently 1up (alot of sub 100kph motorway riding) it would give 4 L/100k's.

I concur with the other VTR250 comment.

My last two fills have been 11 litres for 280kms (when the 2 litre approx reserve kicks in - 13L total tank) - so approx 25kms/l. This included a fair bit of carpark slow manoeuvring practice though, with some highway stuff and general commuting.

    I get 220km to a full tank (19 bucks or 10L of 98)

Racing i have heard nc30's do 125km to the tank so that's like 2/3.

I know its not 250 but maybe someone's interested...

Ive had my ninja since july and been getting anywhere from 350-370 kms per tank. The fuel gauge is horrible as it goes to empty around 230kms. I used to follow it however everytime i filled up it was only 11 or so litres and 7 litres was just staying in the tank. I rode it till it ran out of fuel around 375 and i stick to that reading.

Anybody else with an 08 ninja getting similar readings? I thrash it a bit and its a mix of city/motorway riding.

Ah the joys of open highway riding. I'll get about 400km if not more out of the hyobag and the wife gets pissed up she is well under that ever time we do big trips. I think she does about 370km per tank (give or take) with open road riding.

Around town, the hyo is better then the kwaka as well.

Cheers HTFU. I've come to realise after checking out other bikes, that my gt250 is pretty damn economical although at times I wish I had abit more power for overtaking, hence my looking at something abit bigger. I've read that the new 650 ninja's are fuel injected and return pretty impressive fuel usage figures!
