Lay down the law, and then tell her to FUCK OFF, effective within 48 hours
Lay down the law, but let her stay until she has to leave the country on the 25th
Let it go, but then tell her to FUCK OFF anyway, effective within 48 hours
Let it go, nad let her stay, its only another 14 days
I'm anal about people touching my stuff.. but clothes and towels etc are fine. just as long as it's not personal stuff or my books without my permission.. in saying that, she's one bloody weird chick... and you're well within your rights to be pissed off. stick it to the girl and if she doesn't pick up her act, then kick her out!!
"Take life one day at a time. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Come out a better person. Never regret the things that have gotten you where you are today."
The fucken nerve of the bitch telling you to stay out of a room in YOUR house. Tell her to fuck off
While you sit there liking things just cos' everyone else does, I'll be standing up here keeping it real.
Or you could just sell your own "new stuff" on TM
Yes, I agree with the sentiment that if this was a student flat MGST would be an anal and intolerant flatmate. However, this is a slightly different situation.
He's renting out a room in HIS OWN HOUSE - not sharing the cheapest accomodation available with likeminded fellows. I think it is entirely reasonable to have higher expectations than that!
On the other hand, I agree that he should have picked up on his gut feeling from square one and never let his current tenant move in... Your gut feeling is almost always right - and it's usually worth being wrong whenever it isn't...
Paranoia - it's just a word THEY invented!![]()
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
Remember your humanity, and forget the rest. - Joseph Rotblat
I was going to say the same thing. And the fact that there was no lease is immaterial. Money is being paid for a room. It's called an implied contract, and that kind of contract is often tested and found to be valid in court in tenancy disputes.
If the hairy Brazilan wanted to push her rights in the tenancy tribunal or courts she might have a case. Of course, she won't, and good riddance to her, but she could if she wanted.
kick the bithch out!
and tell he in her own words "life is too short to wory about things like that"
She is going to be an overstayer soon is she not? so who cares about all the legal crap.
I have had overseas flatmates when we lived in queenstown, its just the way they are, their culture.
its Crazy Big Al but if your have lesbian fantasies you can read it crazy bi gal if you like!
Pray that she is telling the truth about leaving on 25th May. Seems to me that she very well may not be .... you may find it a bit hard to get rid of her.
Good luck, I dislike flatmates, I don't even like living with anyone except my family actually, I'm far too anal retentive (and I don't like damp towels either, or un-pulled curtains for that matter). Never settle for less! ~ Short term guests are far more fun, maybe you could offer the room to a travelling salesman or something like that?

Still inventing myself ...
Code:...completely, unshakably content.
Was thinking the same thing.
Its a tough one alright. But as people have said. You sound very set in your ways. Why would you let a complete stranger move in when im sure you know your the way you are??
Im not saying theres anything wrong with the way you are, but come on...!
Motorcycing is not a hobby, It is a way of life!
Missed forever! NEVER FORGOTTEN!!
LIVE ON MY FRIENDS!
Friends dont let friends ride Hyosungs
walk around the house naked...
situation (a) she blows you... now even if she isn't the prettiest thang on the planet, you get to shoot her in the eye and you don't go to jail
situation (b) she fucks off in disguist at the sight of your wobbly bits
it's a win win situation.
Id get her drunk, shag her 10 ways to Sunday.
I know that won't help with the flatting issues you are having, but you sound a little uptight and I think a lay will do you the world of good.
Your welcome!
Uncle Tank.
No signed agreement, means she has no comeback to you, unless everything was explained in the first instance verbally.
Out the door she goes...
Ask her to leave, if she refuses, trespass is an option

I'd say that he needs to get pissed also if she is a brazillian bushpig or is it packing something else between the legs?
NEVER GONE TO BED WITH AN UGLY WOMAN, BUT IVE WOKEN UP WITH A FEW.
Sad but true, most of them didnt even mind that I couldnt remember their name. Although some quick thinking while hungover was required if they started talking about coming back again...![]()
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
Not necessarily. Similar situation happened in Aucks to a mate. No tennancy agreement was signed, and nothing was verbally agreed upon except for the amount of the money per week and expenses. The (renter),does not have the right to refuse any resonable request from the person who owns the property. If the home owner requests the person to leave, for whatever reason then they can stipulate a time frame that they wish them to be gone by, and then if no compliance, the other person can then be trespassed. In this situation the home owner, has access to any and all areas of their property at any time, for whatever reason.
If upon first moving in, or in the period immediately following the verbal acceptance, and condidtions are verbally imposed, such as splitting costs for maintenance, or a standard of cleanliness is requested, and the person then does not comply. Then it can become a matter for civil dispute...Not a tenancy tribunal, they do not handle disputes between flatmates (or between shared accomadaters)...
You are only protected by the tenancy laws if you have signed an agreement. Anything else is a matter for civil dispute
