    A few years ago I ran the Pahiatua half marathon, got near to the end and there was a guy sitting at the edge of the course massaging the stump of his leg where the artificial leg had been rubbing > he was a damn site older than my and I had two legs. The bastard could have beaten me , incidentally the Palmerston North Half Marathon is August 17. Best course in the North Island

    Yes. At the railway station. That way I can just get of the train and go straight there easily! Seriously though, if anyone is keen to meet at the pub afterwards then we can sort something.....

    My training over the last month or two has consisted entirely of several lifting sessions at the gym. I look forward to a new Personal Worst (tm) half-marathon time.
