R6 brutha pays the price for playing it waaaay too safe on that last corner. Blcok the inside and get done big time on the outside

Some great action though. Was it British Supersport or Superstock or something?

...depends on the 'type' of 'beating'...if ya know what I mean

Actually, I've a lot of time for the 675, and man that dude rode it like his life depended on it, eh?

    British Super Sports.

I love it when the bikes are getting all out of shape like that and the R6 with the rear 6 inches off the deck going into those corners. Brilliant.

nice last lap racing!, quite a long lap too.
Good to see we aren't the only country that insists on putting armco right beside the track!

That bloke is James Whitham ex works superbike and World Superbike/Supersport/500GP rider.

That's British Supersport at Oulton Park a few weekends ago.... The Triumph is the Embassy racing bike with Glen Richard's (ex Brit Superbike ozzy) on board. Embassy are the official Triumph works backed entry and the R6 is effectively the 'factory' Yamaha effort in the UK with Hudson Kennaugh on board.

Oulton Park is a great track as it has so many rise and falls on it..... rode the same meeting a number of years back in the same class when there were over 35000 spectators.

The move he put over the R6 (at Old Hall turn) was good but in fairness the usual last lap at Oulton is a faring bash of someone trying an inside move in to Old Hall... this is what Kennaugh undoubtedly thought as he moved to the inside. Little did he know what Glen had in mind.....lol

Great racing and Richards looks like a good bet for the British Supersport title in 2008 to add to the Superstock title he won in 2007. I think his chances of ever winning the British Superbike title are gone though.
The older i get the faster i used to be.......
