All with their own attractions and unattractions. Too hard to pick one.

For stand up - Billy Connolly...but I suppose that's coz I'm fae Glesga. Saw a young fella in Auckland though Danny Bhoy. He was quite good too.
Bill Bailey "Part Troll" is a very worthwile watch. Dylan Moran had his moments but didn't quite have me pissing masel'

I used to like Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor too.

Stand up comedy is one of the single hardest things in the world to do well and I take my hat off to anyone that tries it....even those that die horribly on stage.

I've always loved Billy Connolly's style of starting on a topic, going way off topic and then ending up back at the original topic, very clever. And his honesty is hilarious!! I love his "arse-hole pants"!!

None of you buggers have watched the clips I put up have you

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Billy Conolly, Billy T, Kevin Bloody Wilson for the "big ones"

If you do a youtube search for "Russell Peters" you'll find some hilarious clips by this canadian based indian guy. I particularly love the "White people, please beat your children" skit.

I've also recently discovered a guy called Pablo Franciso who's pretty damn funny.

On the local front, Michele A'Court, Jeremy Corbett, Ewen Gilmour, Raybon Kan, Oscar Kightley / Naked Samoans, Laughing Samoans, and plenty of others.

At the moment I'm hugely enjoying the collected works of Bird and Fortune on Ewechube. Funnier than a funny thing being tickled to death.

No-one has said Liegh Hart as in Moon Tv ????

That guy is bloody hilarious ,is a combination of other actors too ,but he creates the skits.

Technically not standup but i had to say it as alot of the time is better than any standup ive seen.

Not everyones taste but ive got a weird/dirty sense of humour apparently
