    Anti fog

Hi there, I've been looking around for decent anit-fog stuff for my visor, but there's so much available both motorcycle product and otherwise.Who knows best...riders, right? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome to Kiwibiker! You should start a thread about waving too.

Have a look at these two threads.

But for what it's worth, Cat Crap is okay. Needs applying every week or more often.

What type of helmet have you got? If you are able to get a pinlock system, I have just bought a new Shoei with one fitted and it is amazing, It will not fog and has perfect clarity as well. In the past I have used a fog city insert but it pissed me off so much I ripped it out. I don't think you will find any wipe-on products that compare to an insert.

I'm with you on the fog city insert. I just took mine off; distorts my vision and still fogs up. I go to the gym at night and then ride home and it fogs up pretty quick.
I'll have to check out the pinlock you mentioned for my shoei. I found this website about it: http://www.pinlockusa.com/ Got great reviews from Cycleworld as well.

My husband has a fog city insert and swears by it. He's a fussy bugger so if he says it works, it WORKS!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

I have a Nolan helm with the built in antifog and it works great.

The wife now has a fog city insert in her helmet after first trying catcrap.
So far so good, only problem has been the inside of the visor becoming grubby and thus need cleaning more often.
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

I'm a newbie here and ride a ZX50, but I can fog my whole house with no problem. My poor AC-11 visor was no match for this hot head.

After riding around with a gap for the past 2 months I received my replacement HJC pinlock visor and insert from the guys at ibike.com

It's INCREDIBLE!, why doesn't every helmet in the world have one.

I couldn't recommend them enough, and will be showing it of at work. Sadly they're not imported to NZ for HJC, but the guys at ibike were fantastic. I say buy up now before our dollar drops.
