Taupo Race, 28th December '04

Never been to this race before, and am planning to go with a mate, has anyone been before, is it normally a good event, and any KB'r going? Going down on the Monday the 27th, and coming back after the racing on the 28th.

Taupo is a great track, very watcher friendly.
And yes, there's bound to be a few of us there and even a couple racing.

Thought about that, but 3/12 hrs down and up in one day plus watching the racing is too much.

Im going too but i havnt enterd yet, ill try ring you tonight (prolly late late), although im going on monday morning to rotorua and staying there then im going to taupo tuesday morning (only 45mins from cousins house in roto). Much chance of a group thing working out?

Yeah sorry dude...just that I'm still umming and ahhing about going and didn't want to mess you around so best I make my own way down. If there is even the slightest hint of rain I aint gonna bother - I'll save my money and make the most of the time off!
