Really depends on if you are aiming for Early, Mid or Late 70's.
Like Maha says shorter (think "any shorter it would be a belt", and then you are getting close) and like Tri boy says, either of those would do the job, but I think the flowery one on the left is probably more 70's.

I still haven't decided between the two lol... So will do my hair and make up n stuff and then see which one goes. This is the first time any one from my youth group will see me in a dress and I've been going for near on 7 years!!!
