I would also point out that someone unscrupulously advertising a bike in such a manner also lays doubt in my mind of its engines total swept volume. I wouldn't want to pay 3 grand to find out.
It really saddened and annoyed me when I saw a bike that I think may be one of these blatantly cheating at a national event.
If the correct process was followed it would have even been possible, and reasonable, to make such a bike legal.
Cheating Sucks.

I've seen the bikes, brought parts off him and met the seller, Andrew. He's friendly guy who's willing to help you out with parts at much lower rate that retail.
The Repsol bike was raced at TRRS last year in street stock and he was flying, won as well I think.
To my knowledge the engine are putting out 23.5 hp and the suspension was set up by Kerry Dukie.
They are good bikes.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
Shit man, he is awesome! he was telling us a while ago how he has a Gilera 180 scooter bored out to 225 that would be the first bike to turn one in a superbike race. It would post better times than the 1.20 he managed on it but the front forks bend right back all the time.

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
He has re-listed at least one with similar descriptions....
"Some people are like clouds, once they fuck off, it's a great day!"
Beleive it was withdrawn as it was misleading the quantity available for bid price. He never actually mentioned bidding was for just one bike - despite the auction comments referring to two near identical bikes.
If that is the auction for the bike with the mirrors on it, it was already there when he had the other auction running.
He has Three CBR's for sale but only had Two adds. Two of the CBR's are set up to race one is not. He answered a question in the non race set up add for one of the race add questions. The race set up bikes talk about SS racing, but have illegal parts.
Confusing? hell yes. But when people asked questions he got all defensive and started quoting the MNZ rule book.
