So if I buy this will they let me into B grade?

By the way this is too cheap. Someone buy it before I get tempted to add to the FXR collection in the shed just to steal the engine and pipe.

Because he's ex-Wellington? That's not very nice, but I guess it's probably true as he's been kicked out of Wellington?
So, when we going to see you at Mt Wellington on #4, then?

  8. #1043
Yeah those Wellington people. Just couldn't put up with me anymore. Tied me to a mule, backwards and blindfolded, with a carrot and stick. Banished me from the land. They are still very traditional as western culture hasn't reached them yet.

You will see me this Saturday I think.

Although you won't see me riding a dirty FXR chassis. My brother will probably be on it.

He is a bit of a novice to motorised two-wheeled machines, so I hope that is alright and he will be allowed to get out on the track at some point.

Your brother will be fine. Numbers will probably be well down this weekend as no points are up for grabs.
If he feels it might help he can probably head out for a wobble on his own at some stage. You're in for a bit of a rude shock after Kaitoke, Mount Wellington is going to seem like a goat track compared. I would offer to give you some pointers but you'll be beating me soon enough without my help in any case.

Dunno if you want him machining it, did you not read why he couldn't use the piston when originally bought?

Wasn't me, I didn't have a lathe back then & I knew someone I thought could use one. Brand new barrel it was too, bought from redundant spares through a honda shop. Cost me $80 for the barrel that had never had a piston in it. The piston was more expensive. He thought he could weld too, that finished off the barrel.
