I think you guys are acting like cocks, if you want a fast bucket buy it, its way cheaper that jason U wanted for his 20 year old bucket engine in a bodged frame remember $5000.? It is a diesel, he may swap it for 3 or 4 lbs of pot who knows, maybe he thinks these questions are serious.

It appears this guy knows more about SS150 diesel rules than most here.

BTW, the TZR was not 'bodged' in any way. In its day it was amongst, if not the best 100 in the country (see F5Daves reply). It won a lot of races on small tracks and big and dam near won the last (I think) Ohakea GP 2nd to Morely Sherriffs and in front of Jimmy and Pete Steadman. IMO it helped lead the way from the old style Buckets to the next generation of GP framed machines.
Next time maybe you should pick a subject to that you know something about to comment on.

Fuck all GP framed machines about if you look at the total number of buckets, the introduction of the FXR would have had far more influence in getting away from "old style" Buckets

What??? A Suzuki FXR motor in a Suzuki FXR frame. FXR's have influenced nothing.
However, FXR's and the rule changes allowing 150 4 strokes have had a huge hand in bringing bucket entry and interest levels to what we see today.

You're contradicting yourself, first you say they've influenced nothing then you make the following statement

You are right. In the last decade FXR's have made it easy(er) to get into buckets with a nice motor, frame, wheels brakes and suspension straight out of the box and that is great. It probably saved the class but I don't see them progressing to anything new.
I am talking about another 10 or so years before that, the early 90's when old shit could still win a race or 2.

GP framed bikes as mentioned have always been in the minority,and probably will remain so. Hell, even your bike isnt GP framed either is it? Plenty of bikes ended up with different frames over the earlier years, including home built frames etc.
The truth is the FXR provided a very competitive ride even as a standard bike. The next era will see these too finding new frames to improve things. Something like a TZR250 framed FXR with an RS125 Showa shock, hot engine etc, oh wait, thats Yow Lings bike, but hang on, apparently he doesnt know anything ....

I'd lean more towards the FXR has given a base level competitive bike that has leveled the playing field to a great degree (for those inclined) and that has led to further development of small 4-strokes. Richard's bike is a good example of this.

I have some standard FXR wheels for sale. They have rotors and sprocket carrier with, even a sprocket. Also an 06 GSXR600 rear shock. The shock has a yellow spring even! and also a red anodized bit at the top, very exciting to look at. The wheels look like they would make any bucket 5 seconds a lap faster as they are silver. Maybe 10 seconds on a big track as they will build up more speed. They even come with some amazing tires. They are some sort of special hard compound. The rear is ace metric as it is hard on one side and sort of oily slippery on the other. Much the same as a motogp tire. If you wanted to maybe drop your lap times further and become the envy of all other racers. I could paint the wheels red on request. For a small fee of course.

Settle down, I was just messing with you , cos you called my 100 motor Gash. Seems you have pretty thin skin, glasshouses and rocks?. I havnt even seen your bike, so how could I possibly be qualified to comment
