Dr250 carb 34mm will this do for my FXR? I was told it the same as a gn250 so im thinking it just needs slightly enlarged hole drilled in bottom of slide like iv read on another post am I correct?
I think you'll find 34mm is too large on the FXR. IIRC the GN250 carb is 30mm? A 28mm PWK/OKO works well on a std engine with exhaust mods and 30mm for a full monty worked worked engine. Cheers.
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Pretty sure the old Man has an X7 tank.
Drive out to a dairy farm and there will be one or two there anyway.

There is no answer for that question.

Search the web for jetting articles (for non CV carbs).

A 172 on main, NDJK needle and 35 on pilot.

. . . will not be right. Really.

I think a 125 main will work on the gn carb for a fxr
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

Pretty sure this is just the bike.
    Wheels you will want
    Forks rarely get bent
Run 12/47 or 12/49 for mount Wellington and you won't need any spare sprockets.

You will want to track down a second set of wheels for wets at some stage no matter what you buy.
    Stock is best

Gun carb on fxr pretty common, so on std engine should be close. Move from there and it won't be. CG, well who knows? My guess wasn't a guess. Trial and error.
