    how does "SUZUKI GN250turbo" sound?
True that... I rode it little bit this morning and it was still scary.... those parts are not necessary, except the handle bars! (those shape of handlebars are hard to control than straighter ones aren't they?)

I'm gonna check what Dushy posted now

    One more mechanical thing.

    GASKETS.

Stephen is searching cheap one at the moment(some shop told me $120 for full set!!)

Man just seems like you are having such a hard time getting used to riding a CBR Fireblade Ewen...I think it is a priviledge in been able to own a litre bike and to be able to ride. Toughen up and learn to control that throttle and you will have a blast with the bike.

Why not call it a GN250-SC44?

You're right about the previlege part but since I chucked in (Power Commander) PC II it's been snatchy down low between 3500 revs in second and third gear, similar to what Issac felt when he chucked the PC III on his bike.

The theory is, the bike is actually running lean so it chugs forward a bit when I am cruising smooth open throttle at around 3.5 k revs and disappears after you hit 3.6/3.7/4 k revs.

I think It's a standard flat spot for the 929 but then again I reckon when you get the time this or next week, have a ride and see what you think.

I am yet to switch the fuel injector back to factory standard and check what difference it makes as all this time I've been riding with the PC on, and still have to fiddle with the mapping program on my laptop!

Other thing is I don't exactly want to pay $300 to be Dyno, it's something that isn't a priority right now. Although I did manage to meet Geoff on KB who lives in Mission Bay who is a engineer by profession and he built his own Dyno and stores it down in a farm in Ramarama.

I'll take it down when the time is right.

Sorry to Hijack your thread Banzai!

+1 both on Andrew and yourself!

Learn the lesson that your ego is doing the talking most of the time, bling doesn't make you ride better and only get what's necessary!

Read up on riding techniques, attending courses, go out riding and hit some practice by yourself will give wayyy better return than bike bling!

But don't let me stop ya from spending but it's good to know the priorities!

Its ok! Can I go with you to put my GN on Dyno as well?

Yea it's good to have good gears but practice makes perfect in everything! (so as in Violin playing, but I'm so lazy at the moment )

Altho I find mirror is too close to me, so hard to see whats in my back... I diffinitely do need straight handlebars!!!

According to metservice there will be few showers today(which there were) but will be sunnny tomorrow.... Hope all clouds go away by this evening!

Well I aint got a power commander on my bike but I know it is running rich no problems...I do get a sort of chucking on my 929 too when commuting but I have had that across all my Fireblades...well I suppose getting it remap would be the only way to go mate to smooth it all out.

i'm especially saying this as you've bought a "weekend warrior" bike, that is, you will only get to learn how to ride on weekends while pushing your limit rather than slowly while commuting every day (and learning how to manage traffic when you're on a seemingly invisible bike)

so after you've done the neccessary mechanical work and actually learnt how to ride the thing, then we look at turbochargin' the ginny

    how does "SUZUKI GN250turbo" sound?
couldnt have said it better mate....congratz on the new gn banzai....what time u wanna go to cycletreads again..i might be free..i got class till 10 then a break till 1...u good for then ???
For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.
