Feedback wanted on 08 Ninja 250r

To all the people that have an 08 Ninja 250r....
I'm a noobie at motorcycling and have put a deposit down on a 250r, how exciting. I'm a little nervous though at the thought of having a brand new bike but very little experience at riding. I've been told its a great bike for learners.

I would like some feedback from people who have one of these bikes in regards to performance and wether they sound tinny or any general comments would be much appreciated. Its hard to spend that amount of money without being able to test ride!!
