    How about...

going to the "Members list", then social groups. We could create a Burgers social group as our own forum. I also belong to the aviator one, so why not one for burgers. Can post photos etc and is a handy meeting point.

    Cheers

I can land my plane in a smaller area than those "bad boys" take to park!

Surely there is no inference that burgers are circus rides - is there??

    First Outing

How about we start the "ball rolling". An invitation to the " Big bore scooters" to include "L" plates and m/c of 250 capacity.
I have been a member of the Ulysses club for 3 years and join in their rides regulary if "suitable". Few of their outings unfortunately keep to the speed limits and often end up in a race... Sorry ,not my scene. I also ride 6 other motorcycles ( ex police bikes) when the feeling takes me!.

Join me from Auckland at the Bombay Autobahn at 0900hrs Sunday 25th. of May, weather permitting. (ph. 096265048 if adverse) for a back road ride to Hamilton? then to Waharoa to see a war birds air show if that's of interest to you, then back home. Any other suggestions please advise...!! johnD

one thing dude is that i have discovered the burgman's and done a few thou k's on the 250!
they aint that great, but they do have a place, they are slow, and easy to deck out.
but they do have good storage, and weather protection.

the honda silver wing is so boring it almost put me to sleep

that i will give you carver the 250 burgers are slow and stable but if you move to the 400/650 things get more interesting and a lot quicker espically on the 650 as johnd found out when he took my burger or a ride on sat morning .

Kiwi Bikers meet bi-monthly, it seems, at a "Watering hole" and restaurant called 'The Riv'. It would be easy to give directions from North, would have to think about Southern Burgmasters. Plenty of bike parking right outside.

Last time I went I had a steak with Carvers brother as a table mate. Havent met Carver yet. I came out and found an Aprillia and a MV Augusta parked one each side of my Burgman.

for the pure reason that its more big and boring, but the sliverwing is the ultimate in boring!

true, but whats the point in riding a admittedly boring bike, to get from a to b?

Sorry but it cracks me up to read your sig as I take it is a put down on "noobs".

Carver, you are the noob compared to the years/miles most of these guys have done on bikes.

Don't take the piss out of your elders and betters junior.

Ride safe and have respect for others bikes and, well... other people.

Good wind up Carver. You got some bites. Got myself a 4burger a couple of months ago. It took a while but I have gotten to like riding it. But now it is in the shop cos I binned it (don't ask) and I miss it. It does not replace my other bikes. Burgers have a place.

Feeding time at the troll park eh Carver? Your little troll tummy rumbling cos you haven't been fed for a while?
If you really have such a dislike for Burgmans (or scooters in general) what's your beak doing in this forum? Stick to where you're best recognised - in Pointless Drivel.
I lahk to moove eet moove eet...
