I get these wonderful people wanting to be my friends, and I love you all BTW.

My question is serious though.

I accept requests and say no to avatars and save the changes, I still get avatars.

I go back and check all to say "no" to avatars and save the changes and still get avatars in my friend list.

I hope the upgrade does not mean that I have to choose to see no avatars anywhere on the forum to stop the waste of space that is friend avatars being displayed.

Do I need to change something at my end?

I love avatars Mr Silly! Just why cant I choose to not see them in my friends list in my profile, neat lists of names is my anal style

The options allow me to not show them in my friends list, I cant seem to get it to work is all.

I see my friends on the forum with their revolting and amusing and confusing avatars, it is enough for me

In the old system, I had ALL avatars (and signatures) turned off so I could read a decent number of posts per page. It really enhances the KB experrience - seriously, it does.
