Will be keen to do it on Sunday arvo if it's raining Friday.
if it only gets colder and windier i might skip the ride. went for a short ride this morning & still regretting it. really, really cold. spent two hours getting pushed around by crazy gusts of wind much to the amusement of everybody else in their nice, warm cars.

    harden up!

just think of the mad dash they have to do, completely unprotected, from their carpark to their office in the rain; atleast we have gear on - if it isn't water/windproof maybe you should invest in some that is. a second pair of gloves is a good idea too, especially if you keep them on top of your hot water cylinder

and in the rain we get to practice our drifting

yeah the wind was horrible today, coming from all sorts of directions. You really notice it on such a faired bike too, like a sail!

atleast the fairings protect you to a degree. naked bikes offer little/no wind protection at all so you get freezing cold - faired biked offer a sheltered air bubble and my one vents hot air all over your legs/under your seat (but only on warm sunny days)

Since it's the time of the year it pays to wear some thermals, under gloves, neck warmer, and maybe even a balaclava

59 bucks for some really good Rjay ones from Motomail outlet store just under the Motomail store in Ponsonby.

    Trust me they are good!

I haven't bought any myself but will go and visit again when I have more money to spend!

sweet, I can do sunday arvo too. how bad does it have to rain for it to be called off on friday?
and to everyone complaining about the conditions, get as much riding done now as you can because then when summer comes back it makes it soo much better.

If it's raining any more than occasional showers then I will give it a miss and get some study done instead. As in persistent drizzle.

But don't let that stop any of you guys from still going for a ride, I'm just the one who has suggested it! But yeah if I don't go on Friday due to rain, then Shingo and I are keen for Sunday arvo as are a few others.
