Sounds like they are being the greedy ones. $7k for a second hand 250? I bought a new GSX 250 new for less than that. In this market that seems a tad high in price!

Well I'm glad I got my ZXR imported direct from japan then... They never bothered with HP restrictions etc... They are smart... 2 licences only small bike (anything up to 400cc and big bike 401cc+ :P) My ZXR hauls butt like no other and screams like a banshee with a cattle prod hidden someplace warm... I'd expect some performance extra from a good exhaust but not 10%... Hey its still one of the quickest 250 4 strokes :P and mine's definantly over 40HP...

A few years ago some idiot attempted to steal my old bomb of a car off my front lawn, smashed a window to gain entry then tried to push start it away (it was automatic btw) My neighbour happened to see them and raced out to shoo them away, he watched them run down the road and into a waiting car that he got make and model of but no rego. I rang 111 to report as they were still only 20mtrs from the house, we had a cop living 50 mtrs up the road. Too late they tell me to turn a unit out, report it ot the station in the morning. This being all of 9;45pm at night mind you.

I reported it to the station as requested. The cop that took the report said, oh wish we had known, we have a report of an attempted theft at Snells Beach half an hour before your attempt and a car was actually stolen in Warkworth about half an hour later. Well see, if they had turned out a car (Warkworth is not a big town) I am sure they could have prevented the theft and maybe even caught the little shits to boot!

    Opps...sorry rant over
