Hmmmm, I have just heard that we have received a noise meter from MNZ? Not sure who is going to be using it and when but will let ya know as soon as possible? - a new one on me thats for sure

Just a reminder guys, only 6 days untill entries close. We do take late entries but they incur a late fee.

You've got a point there D, a lot of the Classics are bloody LOUD. I can see some interesting discussions happening in the pits

Woh.....thats gunna be tricky 'specialy if they ping people in the built up part of the track. Megaphones D? Most of them classics have a straight pipe with a slot in the bottom.

The nosie meters supplied by MNZ don't get used during racing, the are for doing a static test bring the revs up to XXXX amount with the bike staionary

Its a bit strange, I missed the last committee meeting when the noise meter arrived so will have to find out what the story is??

Post classic is Full - already turned people away.

    19 buckets - good work

looks like we may just have enough to run seperate S1 and S2 motards too.

Well Well, less than 14 hours left untill the entries shut and unless your on a classic, bucket, motard or in F1 then you might be out of luck.

127 ladies and gentleman entered. - best year ever!! 114 last year

There will be some late ones come in too. As explained in the entry/newsletter, we may throw some of those greedy beggers entered in 4 classes out of a class or 2 to give everyone a good days racing, just dont want to have to turn people away.

just a question for you bucket boys - when was the last time you had your own class???? - no promises but its looking good.

All will be confirmed by 12pm tomorrow.

    cheers, steve

Actually buckets have their own class at BEARS winter series, and there is around 30-40 in it these days, weather dependant of course!
It will be a some cool racing to watch, at least I CAN watch... next year I'll be back to race!

    127 entries, that is BRILLIANT!!

You joining us in buckets Steve? 127+ is great.....and getting stronger each year will only help with the future of the event.

127 is great but provides us with a few headaches. its a nightmare when mnz restrict you to 35 bikes per race and you have 47 post classics and 41 bears enter. it makes for some very unhappy campers!! so you can see why there will be a lot of shuffling around to get guys 2 classes. Next year we might have to just say first in first served and if you miss out too bad. but as i said, i dont want to turn people away.

time will tell!! - its going to be a nightmare.
