Hope no one waited round for me at Gate Pa if so Sorry bout that I had gone past but didn't spot anyone. Didn't think it be a good day out there with what was going on with extra police etc.
Hope those who went had a good ride they are some nice roads out that way.

You fullas missed a good ride! No rain. Saw the killer beez going the opposite direction into Rotorua with a ton of cops following them.. LOL So we had a good ride down into Murupara and the on to Te Teko. Weather was great, if a bit nippy. Some parts of the road were wet where the sun doesn't shine on the road long enough at this time of year, but otherwise was all good.

As an aside, the killer beez went through Edgecumbe about 5pm with a lone cop car sounding the siren behind 400 odd bikes! I don't think he had a chance... LOL

good to hear it was a good ride

At least he tried! Unlike the cop I went past yesterday who just hit the disco lights and sirens at a car who must of been doing 57kph, whilst about 30 bikers went past doing at least 70/80kph up the middle of the road sure enough... One went down 2 towns down

Gee it was a pleasure to show you guys around my back yard. This was my first go at organising a ride, and I didn't learn too many harsh lessons.

    many thanks!
