If they let you in on the code the conspiracy against you sort of falls apart don't you think?

I guess we can all join Wellington, and head down there for testing hehehe
LOL - That would be an option I guess.....long drive to test....Countdown's carpark is sounding easier...for now

Yeah Fishe put on a good show. Pity I missed my go, but I wanted to see if my bike was still going as I'll probably miss next race & BOB is next after that. {edit forgot moved dates}.

    Rangi, 80kgs of FURY!! Hahaha!
    Anyway, quick update.
Thanks to Skunk, Rangi has had his FXR fork transplant. Tested on Saturday, forks felt good, responsive and stable, brakes felt bad, real bad.
Took it home and changed master cylinders. Felt much better today during racing, brakes still don't feel completely right but they're livable. Love the forks though. Rangi's cool. (hahaha )

Well apart from trying to kill me, Rangi was ok & that it has potential. The forks are an improvement from when I rode the bike last in Auckland.

That clutch is just on or off. Drain oil, pull the cover off, undo the 4 bolts holding the springs down & pull the plates out & let us know what you see. If needs be I'll pop up & look from there.

Also need to find another stiffer spring. Shouldn't be too hard to match something up.

Hey Trudes, did you ever pop that side cover off to look at the clutch? Something must be wrong somewhere for the clutch to behave like it does. Someone will have parts around to fix, or maybe it is obvious, Drain the oil & pop the cover off. (needed an oil change anyway) Tell us what you find. I can pop around one night to check if needs be.

I mean unless it is obvious it's the cable or lever arm.

Hey Dave, haven't had a chance yet, although when I took it out for a test run after getting the chamber sorted, we adjusted the clutch a bit so it didn't engage the second the lever was released slightly and it took quite a lot of that initial bite out it. Maybe next time it's in need of an oil change I could do it at the track when you're there so you can have a squizz.
