I got me one of these:

    http://www.damart.com.au/Product_Det...roductID=24182

The last one I had lasted 5 years, they are virtually indestructible. They stay on tight and don't move around under the helmet. I use a silk balaclava as well if it gets really cold.

I just orderd a neck warmer off tardme. I've been using a silk balaclava that I have had for years and it rocks. We'll see how this is in comparison. I'll post back how I like.

I've been using a polar fleece neck warmer. Best ten bucks I've spent in a long time. Tucks into my jacket and helmet no worries and doesn't restrict movement much at all.

I've got one of those (Warmrider neck warmer), it fits well, not too bulky but on longer trips it doesn't stop the wind enough. I got myself a REV'IT 'Tube Windcollar' from motomail which stops the wind a bit better, but it's baggy and doesn't go down so far. I had to cut holes in it where it goes over my mouth/nose so I could breath. Most of the time I wear the Warmrider by itself, but on longer trips I'll wear the REV'IT thing over the top of it. It gets a bit bulky though and is a pain to put on and take off. And it's still not as wind proof as I'd like.

Would have thought they would be pretty standard issue at most motorcycle shops...

A few weeks ago I got some of the chillout inners and at the first shop i went to they didn't have them but had access to the importers and could order me some on line and the second shop had them in stock. Ring around i am sure they'll be easy to get at the bike shops in Welly.

I've got a buff. Very good., fairly warm even in this chilly air, LOL.
Cycletreads sell them too, and also the oxfod neck warmers.
I noticed on the lates BIKE RIDER or KIWI rider mag that if you subscribed to them you got a free neck warmer.
