Ouch. Lucky they weren't run over. It was kinda hard to see what happened exactly, it looks kinda like the guy on the outside turned in front of the guy on the inside?

Sorry, I can't help with the webhosting. The link worked for me ok though.

Yep dangerous is right. Not sure who was the guy that caused the crash but it was richard scott that got rear ended. Made a mess of his mint as bike i was just admiring while standing next to it just to the side of the grid.

A seriously awesome day, such an awesome place to watch the racing.

I thought the guy on the inside washed out the front under brakes (cold tyres?), and took out Scott....

Fuck the bike. The rider had to be taken away in the ambo. Fringen mashals should have Red Flagged the race.

a secrety squirrel from the inside tells me that he binned in practice with the same problem (but lowsided) and so they will be looking for mechanical faults.

Well I have got a vid of it. Seems #9 was slightly cut off by another bike,(Hard to say who had "the line"), which made him lock up the front. Then over th bars,, Hello road,, bike lands on his back,, then his body sides into the wheels of a bike turning in front (not the cut of-er), corsing that bike and rider to land on top of him, finished by the big slide which took him out of the way of the remaining bikes.

    Pic's soon.

I saw the TV3 thing too, maybe he popped a mono like a few of the other guys from the gun, then when the front come down he saw he was so far up the next guys ass, that he had to hit the anchors hard enough to produce Wanganuis most expensive Boxing Day stoppie. Poor Guy.
    Because I can...

Can not get the vid to work nor have I seen the news as we were on the road home but in the accident down from the BP shop, right turn on to the straight that heads down to the railway lines I was just south of the corner and noted the rider did not make any attempt to get up or out of the way. The race should have been red flagged immediately. I also want to thank the Marshal that walked out on the track and stood in front of the rider that was down to stop other bikes hitting him on the second lap. Good on you who ever you were. It could have been the BEARS race :spudwhat:

The Ambo/Medic did the hard work from what I saw even had to tell the marshals to put bails in front of the bike. Oh, has anyone heard how the riders doing? Also Pete Sales had a bin, interested to know how he is too.
