I'm gonna fly to the Uk and shoot that fucking black bastard drogba myself!

Game couldnt have been much closer, ended up going to penalty shootout with manu winning 6-5 in the end. I'm officially in mourning.

Speaking like a true kiwi,bloody sounded exciting for a game going into extra time,most European teams when facing 30 mins extra,close up and think of penalties,credit to both for trying to win and not going defensive.

Shows the mental toughness when taking the penalty,you'd think that being 10 yds from a target 24'x8' would be simple eh?

Have been in 3 or 4 extra time games and taken penalties(never missed)and even at our league the pressure was on,hate to do it in major games like this one.

As for the send off,what a dick,the rules say if you hit or shape up to strike your off,so was a no brainer really,have been sent off once and didn't even hit the guy,just shaped up,the ref sent 2 of us and 1 of them off,then my teammate said even it up ref the other guy started it,next thing we were 3 off lol,still one with 8 men in last 15 minutes.

As for Ronaldo?scoring brilliant then missing his penalty bloody good,why don't the refs' disallow any penalties he scores,he definately stops,not stutter steps on his approach,last I knew you are not allowed to break stride approaching the ball.
