Don't take this as a personal attack, it's not. Saw a saying in a magazine once.. "success is a matter of luck, just ask any loser" I'm sure the guy you quoted did not get his 75k job by luck. Chances are he worked hard to get into that position. Just generalizing here, but NZ is rife with people sitting on their arses waiting to get 'lucky'.
It amazes me how many of these threads I've seen lately, only topped by the amount of incorrect information and generalisations in them.
