The 'Can Cruise' timetable is as follows:
Tuesday, 9th December.
Balclutha New World 5:00pm
Owaka 4 Square 5:35pm
Oak Tree Inn Clinton 6:15pm
Clutha Valley School 7:05pm
Balclutha Scout Hall 7:45pm
Kaitangata Town Hall 8:10pm

Thats a big wide very fast gravel road section and you would be pretty unlucky to meet speed enforcement devices on the sealed sections, plus its a pretty direct route so it must take less time than going all the way back through Balclutha wouldn't it - or is there a short cut?

Hope some of u guys can make the trip down . C Yous there . Cheers Toddy
The plan was that if some people did not want to ride the gravel there would be a group double back and cut through Warepa and come out onto SH1 at Kaihiku.
Personally I dont mind a bit of gravel, but if it is wet it does make a bloody mess of your bike. That is a very good gravel road, it is always packed quite hard and is very wide with not much loose gravel.
