Otago..Big..River..Bikers! What are the qualifying common denominators?

    1) Otago: Must be from Otago? Does North Otago count? yes..%25

    2) Big, A: Must be big guy? Skinny wizened old c*#nt. No..%0

    3) Big, B: Must be big river? Waitaki is a big river? Yes..%25

    4) River: Must live by a river? Waitaki River. Yes..%25

    5) Bikers: Must be a biker? 54yrs riding bikes. Yes..%25.

1,2,4,5, (%75) Suggests that I don't qualify. (Thinks: rejection not a personal strong suit )

    But wait:

1,3, 4, 5, (%100.) If these are the required common denominators to enable one to qualify for "Otago Big River Bikers" then I am in!

    But wait:

Discerning: (adj) Having or showing good judgement or insight. (Subjective denominator. Judgement by peers! )

Conclusion: "Membership by invitation only" . (Oh well) Cheers John.

    Cool Camel Fleas.

    Great idea RM.
    May the ancestors of 1000 camel fleas infest your . . . . .
    you know the rest!
Excellent day, warm NW and I had to be at work!!!!
Agree, looks like the weather might be against us on Sunday, but at least one of the BRB crew got a ride in today.
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flash weaken the plastic?

I haven't had any emails about this ride - so how do we know if its on or not???
We have a light dusting of snow here at the moment but I don't think there will be much around in the morning - it will probably be farking cold though, but we can dress for that.
Are you going regardless of the weather? - ie whats your "fuck this I'm staying at home" threshold??????

Two inches of snow/hail here. Normally means it will be thicker on Table Hill.
Way past my "fuck this I'm staying at home" threshold!

3-4 inches on the ground here this morning was well past my "FTIS@H" threshold as well !! - had a bit of extra balage to feed out as a result which also used up most of the morning
It would be interesting to know whether it still went ahead though - and if not whether there is a Plan B date - Mbazza ?????

Yes, I'd be up for it given better conditions.
As it happens I had 2 lots of visitors this arvo, so I would have missed them.

    Hi S,
Do you know if this ride went ahead? I didn't even think about it 'cause of the wind! cheers.

I've learned the lessons of going against the 'current'(only when the need arises), I enjoy the odd 'rapid' but prefer the steady 'deep and mysterious', not knowing whats around the next 'bend'. I have been acused of being able to be led with a rotten piece of string. 'Floating' along without a care in the world is good.'Till someone rocks my 'boat'.

Anyhooo...'drifting' back on topic; BRB are heading off @ 10am (I think) from the old Wrighties car park opposite Caltex and going to Port Chalmers this Sunday.

I won't be there as I am on night-shift Saturday...
