    Sealing the float bowl

Anyone got any clever tips for sealing the float bowl? The rubber seal (a ring in a groove) has gotten all old on me. Can't get a replacement either.

I thought of gasket glu... Anything better?

I've got some high-temp RTV that might do the trick. I'll drop it in your letter box tomorrow if you want to give it a try. Let me know.

    It doesn't say...It's CRC Red Gasket 260

I've also got some Hylomar Universal Blue this says it's resistant
to combustion products, water, engine coolant, petroleum, lubricating oils, kerosene and fluorocarbon refrigerants
