    Should I tell him???

Hi all, I'm JT's wifey. We've decided to go for our licences together and last weekend did our basic handling skills test, plus been browsing on here for a while and 99% decided to get a Suzuki Intruder, pre-aproved loan all set up waiting for us to sign on the dotted line. Today I did the sneaky though and went and did my learners without him knowing! Passed but of course now I have to tell him. Didn't want the pressure of competing with him to pass it. Wish me luck! He'll be sweet though now the pressure is on him! Yay...can't wait to ride.

Go buy the bike and surprise him by arriving at his work with it hehe
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

No. Phone in a sicky when it's time to do the learners "together" and go and pick the bike up instead.

no. Tell him nothing until you get to the test, and when he looks at you quizzically, grin and say "oh, I did mine last week, hehehe". Get the bike together though - if it were me, I would feel a little left out if you picked it up on your own, but hey I'm a puppy dog.

edit: haha, looks like you've been sprung anyways !

edit again: you two will have a lot of fun, both on KB and with your new toy(s).

Good on you, and congratulations. At least it looks like you've been spared the old "how do i break the news" dilemma - too late now!!! Enjoy riding together.
p.s. you can always tell him you just didn't want to show him up by blitzing the test and him feeling the pressure in reverse

Me thinks he knows. Go and buy the bike. Ride it home. Laud it over him, ride it first, ride it to the shops when he can't. Smile and tell him you love him and would he move the car so you can go for a ride.

Yes indeed Master Storm. This is feeling remarkably like the Kendogs self introduction to KB-land.

What! They give away 'toys' with bikes. Interesting.
