Henderson motorcycles isn't too far away from me, but I think someone like Frosty or KK would be better qualified to check it out, I wouldn't really know what to look for. Plus I couldn't legally take it for a test ride...

I've just come from having a look at it,it's as traded, done 82,000km I think.Black duct tape holding headlamp and front indicator lenes in,nice seat, has been redone, dent in left header pipe, mufflers in good nick, tyres past half worn,no dampening in rear shocks, there is adjustment but I'd say it was on max,no fork leaks and fork chrome is good. What you'd expect for 1981,she's no minter and has been used well, someone has looked after it,but not lately. No WoF or rego, but I'd expect they would be on if bought.$2000 is maybe a bit steep,I'd be pushed to pay $1200 for it,with new WoF and rego that is....

The rego on the bike is a good 4 mths or more expired, but I supose you could call it current as it won't need a VIN,but someone has to pay the unused rego, make sure it's not the buyer.Mind you,the label could be in a draw eh?

Not at all at all. In fact it was devoid of such frivalous crap. The 750s where produced for the jap market up till 1985 from what I can assertain. You may be thinking the CBX, the customs or GSX750.
