I've "backed up" my cds into WMA lossless format and now want to batch copy all these to a new folder with similar structure into MP3 format.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Disk space not an issue.

I've got about 45 cd's burned as wma lossless.

I'm soon to be unemployed and contemplating becoming a professional bum, and therefore buying a mp3 player to sooth the nerves after some south american goon has slit my backpack and stole my hemmaroid cream that i needed from sitting on a bus for 17 hours.

97.25% of mp3 players wont play wma lossless.

in other words, i have one format and cant be arsed re-ripping the whole lot......

Sorry to say but the most efficient way to do what you want is to use Linux.

If that didn't frighten you off then go here.

I suggest downloading a wma to mp3 converter.
Also if you have an Itunes program you can convert it there.
