    Tom's Round 1

Trying to be as best prepared as possible i did some pre race inspections and bolt checks on the bike the night before so bits dont acually fall off on my bike this time. Got the van packed and i was ready to go, it was impossible trying to get to sleep the night before it felt like the night before chrismas when i was 8..

Anyway i was enterd into F3 and postclassics. I got down to the track nice and early got set up and went out for scrub in i see all the usual competition was down Chris, Steve, Nikki shame Finn couldnt make it tho and some other 400 riders out there.

    F3 Quallifying
Was reasonable concidering it was the first session of the day mannaged to get 1.53 or somethin not the best time in the world but it was ok got me 22nd on the grid

    Posties Quallifying
Was a lot better and mannaged to set 1.50 and put me in a good position on the grid 12th i think just beside chris who set 1.49

    F3 first Race
Got a really good start and mannaged to pass a few people off the line and the first 4 corners were crazy peopl were franticly trying to pass eachother to queeze in those few more places. but after everyone settled in i mannaged to work my way up to 11th just behind Matt Renee (his vfr is friking fast) tried in vain to pass him for the rest of the race. Finished in 11th place and was doing consistant 1.50s i was a little dissapointed with the times i was wanting to do consistant 1.48s. and i see Niki in the grass with tweedy oh:

    Postclassics Race
After being held on the dummy grid for ages we were let out. This race soon turned into chaos 2 people came off on the warmup lap (cold tyres) and we then soon lined up on the grid after being let off i didnt even manage to do a lap before someone elce came off infront of me (narrowly missing him) at this point i had slowed down a bit (i am going to warm tyres up, cant get points if you crash) Scratcha passes me looking like hes going fine so i try to catch up but before i have a good chance i am hit off the track at turn 1 and end up in the kitty litter. i loose lots of places and mannage to fiunish in 22nd.

    F3 RAce 2
Great Race but steeve mannages to pass me off the line but i soon catch him and was gaining places i mannage to get behind bike 196# a v powerful zxr but he was not lettng me go easy i mannage to pass him in the turns but he always gets me under power. At this time chris mannages to pass and finds a fair turn of speed and passes the zxr too!!!!! (damn him and his new shock)
i end up being stuck behind this zxr the whole race whilst chris gets away GRrrrrrrr Finish 12th

    Postclassics Race 2
Truely Epic Racing in this race Chis and I were battleing it out from lap 1 we both manneged to get 1.47s here but chis mannaged to pass me under brakes in turn 1 (hes a demon under brakes) and im right on his tail until the final lap where he gets a bike between us and he finishes 5th i finish in 7th

Great Day of racing i look forward to future battles at Round 2

Nice one on the 47's Tom. And nice one on not getting another 'admitted to hospital' in your log book

Better watch that Chris boy the f'k'r is gettin' fast.

They are good times for a 400. Well done. That ZXR has 78HP at the rear wheel - it was on Motomart's dyno a week ago.

Yeah, I think I picked up a couple of seconds just tagging onto Chris for a bit. Nice to see you keeping it rubber side down Tom. Obviously I'll be pwning you when the CBR is going again........umm.....well maybe not.
