    It may pay to check that it does fit later models first as they did change quite a bit.

    Have a look at the difference in the seat thickness in this animation of a 03 and later model. If it does fit later models, then let us know as I'm keen.

    Im fairly sure it will because I am using a seat off a 2006 thou on it at the mo so if it works one way it should work the other, right?

    But then you're taking the seat off, so it probably will fit the same.

    Haven't found anywhere that stays they are different. Looks to be the same thing for all.

    yea from what I can tell they are the same, I dont need it anymore as I'm sick of taking it on and off when the missus wants a ride!

    Yeah, it'll fit all model SV1000s. I have a black one for sale somewhere, complete with the grab rail replacement and the fairing fillets.

    Will Fit All Injected SV's

    In the USA it is a standard part - number # 45500-16861_ _ _ . The three dashes are for the colour code and year - the part number itself hasnt changed since 2003, and while the bikes themselves have had a number of changes the cowl has stayed the same.

    That man makes a good point... it will fit all injected SVs (so that includes 650s too).
