Get a couple of mates to give you a hand to set up the sags... always a good start to get that right first

    another site !
The Speed 3 leaves a little to be desired with its front suspension but for road use its passable !
Get ya sags right and leave it soft i got told !
Thinking seriously about a dampner, seems a bit light without clamping the head bearings tight !

The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Thanks for the advice guys. Getting a hand next week to sort it out myself (runs out to the shed to write down factory settings so he can reset it if he cocks it up).

Ahh yes, but it is still comming, and therfore I havent read it. Someone at the bike shop borrowed the maunal for my bike and now nobody is really to sure where it is, so I get one of the manuals form a shipment of bikes that is ment to be comming in this week.

lol, i was just looking for that service manual link, post it up here so Pumba can download it as well.

if i remember right the factory settings are-

    front comp - 2
    front rebound - 2
    rear rebound - 2
    rear compression - 2

    (all from fully screwed in)

    front preload 3 lines showing
forks set flush with top clamp (fork cap still protrudes)

    rear preload - cant remember

i will have to double check these when i get home.
