Talking You know something's wrong when...

You know something is wrong when ... your up at 5am drinking a V for breakfast!!!!!!!!! Iv noticed I have been drinking V's for the past 2 weeks in order to get a quick pick-me-up-and-fast .. I am resigning myself to the fact this is not a healthy start to the day! Any ideas on an energy boost other than normal breakfast stuff????? Cereal tastes like cardboard early in the morning.

hehe good to see you doing it hardcore, fire eyes

Have a good sized protein brekky, miss. Couple of eggs, meat, cheese. Good for ya mind and good for ya body! Skip the useless carbs - nothing in them that will help ya.

    What I have been having lately - scrambled eggs with a difference ;

Very finely grate a good handful of courgette, and a much smaller amount of carrot into the frying pan with two cloves of crushed garlic. Add salt and white pepper and a big knob of butter. Cook gently for about 5mins until its soft. Beat two eggs in a bowl and then beat in nearly the same amount of milk. Remove the pan from the heat and cool it quickly on a stainless steel benchtop or similar and add half the eggs mixture and stir in with the cooked grated vege mixture. Add the remainder of the egg and heat until the eggs begin to set - moving the lot around scrambled-eggs stylez.

Gotchas for the inexperienced - don't add the egg mix to the really hot pan - it will fry on and wreck itself. Vege mix must be cooked first or it will be crunchy and weird. If the veg browns onto the pan, use a little egg mix to soften it off and then stir it in.

DONT eat it on toast. Give the toast to the ducks and just eat the eggs. Yum. Protein and veges is good for ya.

What did you find was "good" about it ?

I tried it, and it tastes like watered down thickened banana flavoured water with half a teaspoon of watered down super-light milk in it. Yark. AND its got like six teaspoons of fucking sugar in it. 95% useless carbs by calorie.

    Protein hit ftw !

Blardy awesome girl!!!! Whilst renovating the kitchen recently I managed to consume my body weight in "V". Awesome stuff...
Seriously, cup of coffee and a couple of poached eggs. This girl is not made for the trucker breakfast. If no time for eggs then I will do banana on toast.
As much as I love "V" it really is not very good for ya long term

Try the new Coke, i'ts bigger then the V. Or to save $$'s buy V in 4 packs from PNS. You pay just over $5.50 for that.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Something I learnt when I was riding courier in the UK.

For an instant "pick me up"

    Small plunger coffee container.

    Loaded with coffee grounds

    Fill with Coke

    Allow to infuse.

Tastes like shit but wow the caffine hit lasts for hours.
