I wouldn't dare jump onto someone elses threadbut anything I know about motorsickles I learnt either back when I was learning to ride on a BSA Bantam or else I have learnt by doing things the wrong way and being told by someone brighter than me " You pillock, what did you do that for". In all honesty I don't think the requisite skills are gender specific but could understand one lot feeling more comfortable not letting the other lot know how little they know ( and besides it stops the students disappearing out the back for a bit of .... - what would I know I went to an all boys school )
