Is this the stupidest engine mod ever?

I can't believe the stupidity of some people...

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Smokey Yunick was the first to port heads in that manner iirc, but I'm pretty sure he didn't do it with the engines running

Proof, if proof were needed, that driving licences should be a privilege not a right.

It puts me in mind of that fella on an American car forum who had a spark of genius and thought about how to improve a turbo - cut the turbine out and just pipe the exhaust into the intake...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

You are so right. He would grade pebbles then mix them with water to create a slurry, force feeding the slurry through the ports of Chevy heads to remove casting flash and machining marks. He did this because the rules said you weren't allowed to port heads for certain classes.

He was very good at interpreting the rule books and if it wasn't in the rule book, then why couldn't you do it?

In closing I'd have to say that pouring sand into a Honda automobile is a good thing, in any quantity, at any time and through any orifice. (Where do I send the truck to?)

    Some people!

A mate of mine years ago dropped a nut into his inlet manifold on his CF Bedford.

He tried everything to reach it, but couldn't (dickhead didn't own a magnet).

Having a 'brainstorm' he decided he would suck it out with his girlfriends new vaccuum cleaner.

BAD idea. The fumes going into the cleaner (through sparking brushes) turned the fucking thing into a hand grenade. There were pieces of it yards. Took me and another mate 1/2 hour to stop laughing.

    I saw worse in '73.
For a giggle, stoned-as, listening to Rare Earth's 'Ma' album, someone chucks an aerosol in the open fire. We scatter. BOOM! No surprise, but fark, what a mess. We're all chooking (coz we could get wicked Bhuddah sticks back then) and trying to rake up the red coals and ashes. This bimbo grabs the vacuum cleaner, but we're just as dumb coz we didn't stop her. Up the snout and presto! Turbo'd glowing shit, smoke for Africa, half a dozen stoned teens running around cracking up while the house is about to explode in flames.

    The things teens do, crazy!

May be they should have done this at full rpm ie brick on accelerator, it would have ejected the sand faster.
I BELIEVE EVERY THING THEY PRINT IN THE TRUTH NEWS PAPER!!!.
