I must say, playing outside in the sun would have been a much better way to spend new years but getting drunk indoors is pretty sweet too. It's supposed to be really good for the first week of Jan tho!

Come on guys... How short your memories are. The weather since Christmas has been fantastic! The bikes have not run cold for long. Yesterday was a wee ripper! 27 degrees in Palmerston North (if the in-dash thermometer on the "temptress of the dark side" was to be believed).

Right... Well... an hour in the rain... joy... Why is it that my boots are only fully waterproof in one direction ?... water seeps in and they fill up, I can slosh around in them for a bit but the water doesn't drain out... Spooky... Someones little joke at the boot factory I expect... heh heh, let's put the waterproof magic membrane stuff in backwards.

    Sedge.

In Britain our winters are getting noticeably milder, used to be a bitch from October right through until the end of February. Now it`s a couple of really evil weeks round about New Year and that`s it,more like Autumn used to be right through the winter months,we`re getting better summer`s as well(i.e. we actually get one most years now)

Well being the self confessed poof on KB and only taking the bike out for a spin in fine weather I wiped the cobwebs off on the weekend (oh I hear you all right now!)

It has been ages and when it is fine I am usually caught doing something else rivetting like mowing lawns

On a better note ...ummmmm rain for the next 3 days - oh joy
