That day will be tomorrow if anybody at the MAFF, LTSA or LTNZ want to have a good day.... As for coming by for breakfast like i said i have to get a job so i can afford to buy the food. Dont even have anything to eat for breakfast/lunch right now.......By the way Anybody know of a place in Hamilton willing to hire Students that have never worked in this country before and sorta not in this country as far as the government is concerned?

Highlights for me apart from meeting everyone:
    • Was about 500m ahead of most of the group after leaving Little River. Looked in rear vision mirror and saw some head lights coming around the corner in the distance, one pulls over into the right hand lane then disappears "Here comes Aaron!" Caught me about 3 seconds later (slight exageration)

    • Being chased by Manuboy up the hill.

    • Following Aarons mate (VTR1000) up the hill on the way back and watching him get his knee down with sparks flying everywhere. Beautiful to watch- looked like a real racer, not hanging off miles with his knee stuck miles out

    • Realising I could actually match his corner speed while he was getting his knee down (initial reaction was "Shit, he's got his knee down and he's hardly hanging off- I must be going too fast")

    • The weird sound effect I could hear when behind the VTR- it sounded like there was a third bike there, so much so that I kept checking my mirrors to see who it was.

Basically an awesome day. Can't wait to do it again!
My daughter telling me like it is:
"There is an old man in your face daddy!"

Doesnt Waikato uni have a "job search" thing happening down there...

Or go and work at MacDon's or a garage/service station... once ya got a job (which is hard to get) and ya work there for a while then ya get references etc to help ya get work in the area that you want to work in.

    All the best.

You two, piss off and get your own thread!!
Yeah Tony, something about VTR's huh, I was following Dangerous out to Halswell, and thought shit, somethings up with my bike, sounded real weird behind his, like mine was only running on 3 or something.
My ride ended up costing me $800 !! No, no ticket or crash, the Mrs went out and bought a dishwasher

So you were late because your bikes so slow?

Stevo turned up later and became chief cook and bought enough steak along for us to have it for tea and breakfast he also seemed intent on getting Warren hammered insisting on him having few of his bourbon and cokes

When we left we turned off just out of Akaroa and road around the summit road to the hilltop, climbng up the hill stuck behind a truck and with limited visibilty due to the fog

Once at the top we had climbed above it but we were in and out of it most of the way around to the hilltop, bit of grit and a few damp patches and it's a narrow little goat track, got back to Tai Tapu and gassed up with Stevo heading off to the classic car meeting at Ruapuna and Warren turning off a bit further up the road

Escorted Cathy out the old West Coast Road and then we swapped bikes for a litle bit,the CB250RS was interesting to ride feeling like a bigger version of my Bucket and Cathy saying it was a novelty not to have to change down for every little elevation change in the road or head wind,we carried on down the road until we got to the turn off to the Waimak Gorge, where we said our goodbyes and I headed back off home

Got a txt from her later saying she'd reached Hokitika and after forgetting to gas up at Arthurs she made Kumara with 225km showing (normally fills up about 180km)and she was feeling pretty stuffed
