No. Dont think that would be the case. They are very soft and spongy. Apart from if there is some grit in them...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I'm deeply concerned as to the changes in shape to the humble marshmallow. I notice more and more of them are now disc shaped, this is horrendous, how can you get an even singe over it when it is the shape of a disc FFS! And.... they fall of the stick easier as well. It's a worry, I tell ya's! Stuff World peace, Jim has it right, Marshmallows are a freaking serious subject

Is this what you're referring to?

I need more information about the nature of this gear grinding before I offer my rare sympathy or go to the trouble of belittling the issue and telling you to HTFU.

I kept burning the shit out of my marshmellows last night upon a poisonous stick that Slinger made, (no, I am not pregnant!), and that really ground my gears too Jim!

This thread reminds me of something about trying to shove a marshmellow in a slot machine.....

I wonder how many times we can spell it wrong before Jim's gears get really ground...

OK so I just looked up what a ‘Marsh MALLOW’ would be....

Basically it would be a Marsh 'flowering swamp plant'! ewwwwww

    Mallow
    mal•low [ mállō ] (plural mal•lows or mal•low)

    noun

    Definition:

    1. flowering plant: a wild or cultivated plant with fine hairs on its stem and leaves, and disk-shaped fruit. Flowers: pink, purple, white. Genus Malva.

As for ‘Marsh MELLOW’...these sound a bit better though not keen on stuffing myself full of moist rich loamy textured soil or for that matter good-humored, tolerant, and approachable, mildy drunk drug addicts

    Mellow
    mel•low [ méllō ]

    adjective (comparative mel•low•er, superlative mel•low•est)

    Definition:

    1. soft in color or tone: comfortingly soft, warm, and rich in color or tone
    2. smooth and rich in taste: matured to a long-lasting smooth rich taste
    3. fully ripe: soft, juicy, fully ripened, and sweet
    4. easygoing: good-humored, tolerant, and approachable, especially as a result of maturity or a feeling of security
    5. mildly intoxicated: mildly intoxicated by drink or drugs
    6. moist and rich in texture: describes soil that has a moist rich loamy texture
